MAC Shy Girl and NYX Pumpkin Pie Photo by Mangobaaz. MAC Shy Girl is a gorgeous satiny orange shade that is not so easy to copy, but NYX’s round lipstick is coming in close with the shade Pumpkin Pie ($4). https://downhfil265.weebly.com/hot-and-cold-games-online.html. It’s a matter of difference in the finish as this one is more of a creamy matte finish, compared to Shy Girl’s sheer satin wash ($16).
It’s safe to say that 2016 was the year of the nude lip, I mean nude lip colours were literally everywhere. With literally every beauty brand and even a few new ones popping up with numerous nude shades we were really spoilt for choice. I mean there were so many shades to choose from mauve to brown and everything in-between oh and lets not forget the array off textures available both liquid and solid or glossy and matte. The italian job free. I know I own a fair few nude shades in both liquid and solid and some people (bae in particular) may say that most of the shades are similar in colour but I think that’s a discussion for another time.
So moving on and keeping with new year, new me theme or maybe we should say new year, new lipstick! There’s one particular brand that we all know and love that has decided to release all the colours of the rainbow and everything in-between and no we aren’t exaggerating, take a look for yourself.
Yasss girls, MAC has decided to release 28 new lipsticks shades this month! MAC is obviously determined to kickstart 2017 by putting a little colour on our lips and with that being said we think that this collection definitely isn’t for the faint-hearted as you can see the colours available from lime green to bright blue and golden yellow to neon fuchsia. There are a few shades for those of us who want something a little more subtle and even a few nude shades for all you die hard nude lip fans.
Ashley Rudder has shared a few swatch snaps of the ‘Colour Rocker’ collection on her instagram, so take a look for yourself, I’m sure you’ll find one that you’ll be after once its released.
